My final arguement on Thought Control

After spending more than a year on this list, I am happy to say that
you have actually hit the single most arrogant posting I have yet to read.
congrats.

Well, nothing you went on to list. +5 MV Man Ven's will still only
get you to MV 0, so will a supercharged power plant, though a hot one gives you a +67%MP. You could give yourself a +1 Targeting computer, but again that is limited to the maximum of 0 MV in mekton. And since the TC system grants a +2 to your MV above and beyond the zero, that is what I am concerned with.

Sure we could, I've used that stick more than once, however the
TC system as listed lets one go over the 0, something no other mekton
system allows, save turbochargers and even I look at them with some
aprehension. We aren't bitching about how we don't think TC systems
are munckin, we a bitching about the lack of any other means of going
about mv 0, and that the one system that does allow it is rather over
the top.

I wouldn't mind that either. It would be nice, but they didn't do
that.

If you take liberty with teh word reasonably, I suppose. I like the
system, but a design contest simply boils down to who knows the most minor loopholes.

It has been my experience that any weapon can be countered for half of
its cost, and there about about 6 types of weapons in mekton, so I'd say this
500 vs 5000 might hold true if you really dig, the simple problem is that a
'compotent' designer, or someone who simply looks at all the cheap and easy ways to kill a mekton, should and will usually have defences that will prevent such a low point kill.

Then again, a fast Mekton with a very large ECM is usually good against
pretty much anything, strangly enough.

> Well, that's my two cents worth....
>Do us all a favor, crack open your game books and read it all for once!!!!

OK, did that, still don't see your point, which doesn't bother me
as you missed ours.
