Federation Rank Badges in Gundam As mentioned before, Gundam world ranks are very similar to the ranks held by military personnel today, we begin with the basic soldier's ranks, and progress onto those of sergeant's, field officers, such as Lieutenants, company officers such as Majors, then the General officers which include Generals and Admirals. This first page will describe the Federation rank badges. Here is the plain red badge of a soldier, these badges are worn in pairs, one on each shoulder.
